WERO Adventure!

We slid into the churning water. My stomach lurched as the nose of the raft dipped under an angry wave that was trying to surge past us. "Forward paddle!," Rubin yelled above the roar of the waves. Another raft in front of us crashes into the concrete just as Rubin yells " HOLD ON!!" My head spins with the motion of the raft as we turn 360 degrees and smack into the side of a grey tank.Our  raft raced  forward into the swelling water and we paddled as if there were several crocodiles in hot pursuit behind us. While we were going round a bend in the rapids, my heart  nearly jumped out of my chest, adrenaline pumping through my body as we skimmed the top of the water at a quick pace. I watched as Kendall jumped out  into the swirling depths and was swept towards the calm of the place where we started off. I quickly jammed my paddle in beneath the tube and fell off the side of the boat. The rapids carried me off throwing me round and round. I saw Lily and grabbed her hand as we tried to fight the current that was pulling us away. Frank's hands grabbed at us and plonked us back into the boat. I turned and smiled at Lily and Kendall. 'That was fun!'
