Wero

SPLASH! I jumped in, there was no going back.
Instantly water flooded my nose, the angry rapids had engulfed me in water.  I was being tossed by the violent crashing waves, water still in my nose.
I heard indistinct voices telling me where to go.
Wrestling the man-made river I made it out...Bearly.
